If you like walking, you can walk along the so-called via verda, where the train tracks once ran to the town of Artí. Today, it is a charming path widely traveled by cyclists and hikers. The eastern Mallorcan coast is full of wonderful beaches and is about a twenty minute drive away. In Porto Cristo you will not only find a beautiful sandy beach, but also a port, restaurants and the famous Cuevas del Drach. These caves will surprise you with their stalagmites, stalactites and the long underground, the so-called Llac Mantel. Cala Millor is ideal for having a drink at night or to go to the safari zoo, where children will especially enjoy.
