Fantastische villa bij Albufeira met privézwembad

Oke, ek ff iets positiefs fja de huisbaas Aankomst was top geregeld. Een aantal dagen voorafgaand de reis goed contact gehad via mail met de huurbaas uit NL, die heeft er tevens voor gezorgd dat een busje voor onze groep klaarstond op het vliegveld Faro, omdat taxis nu in de corona tijd niet rijden met grote groepen. Waren met 6pers tussen de 25 tm 30jr. Busje was dus top geregeld! Dit busje hebben we de rest van de week er ook bij gehuurd. Op het vliegveld hebben we de vriendelijke lokale agent gebeld met de mededeling dat we waren aangekomen. Die heeft ons vervolgens via whatsapp een live locatie gestuurd van de villa. We waren vanaf het vliegveld Faro binnen 40min bij de villa, mooi dichtbij! De lokale agent heeft ons daar opgewacht en in de villa rondgeleid. Leuk en vriendelijk ontvangst, spreekt overigens goed engels. Accomodatie eerste indruk: groot, netjes, schoon en tiptop in orde. Alles aanwezig wat je je maar kan bedenken, we zijn niks tekort gekomen tijdens het verblijf. Qua omgeving van de villa, ligt afgelegen en op een rustige plek. Zit een erg mooi klein zandstrand dichtbij (praia de coelha) met restaurant waar evt. gelegenheid is tot suppen, loopafstand 15min. Winkeltjes zoals de spar voor vers brood in ochtend is tevens 15min lopen vanaf villa. Wel een aanrader om vervoer te regelen tijdens het verblijf, ivm grote boodschappen die je doet. Lidl is ongeveer 15 tot 20 min met de auto. Omdat wij net in de onzekere coronatijd zaten(20-6-2020 tm 28-6-2020), was er op de boulevard(the strip, 15min met de auto) helemaal niks te beleven. Alle horecagelegenheden waren dicht, op een paar (eet)tentjes na. Was erg jammer, maar hebben hier over het algemeen weinig hinder van ervaren, omdat we ons bij de villa goed hebben kunnen vermaken! De laatste dag hebben we in Faro doorgebracht, mooie stad met veel winkelstraten, daar was wel wat meer te doen en meer geopend.

A few days prior to the trip, we had good contact via email with the landlord from NL, who also made sure that a van was ready for our group at Faro airport, because taxis now do not drive with large groups in the corona time. Were with 6pers between 25 and 30 years old. So the van was well arranged! We also rented this van for the rest of the week. At the airport we called the friendly local agent to say we had arrived. He then sent us a live location of the villa via whatsapp. We were from Faro airport within 40min at the villa, beautiful close! The local agent met us there and showed us around the villa. Nice and friendly welcome, also speaks good English. Accommodation first impression: large, neat, clean and in perfect condition. Everything you can think of, we have not lacked anything during the stay. In terms of the surroundings of the villa, it is secluded and in a quiet place. Is a very nice small sandy beach nearby (praia de coelha) with restaurant where possibly. Opportunity to paddle board, walking distance 15min. Shops such as the fir for fresh bread in the morning are also a 15min walk from the villa. It is recommended to arrange transport during your stay, due to the large shopping you do. Lidl is about 15 to 20 minutes by car. Because we were just in the uncertain corona time (20-6-2020 until 28-6-2020), there was nothing to do on the boulevard (the strip, 15min by car). All catering establishments were closed, except for a few (food) tents. Was very unfortunate, but have generally experienced little inconvenience from this, because we had a good time at the villa! The last day we spent in Faro, a beautiful city with many shopping streets, there was more to do and more open.
