{"id":8777,"date":"2017-06-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T15:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/blog\/?p=8777"},"modified":"2023-10-22T10:36:04","modified_gmt":"2023-10-22T10:36:04","slug":"alles-moet-weten-dataroaming-europa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/blog\/alles-moet-weten-dataroaming-europa\/","title":{"rendered":"Alles wat je moet weten over dataroaming in Europa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sinds 15 juni 2017 zijn dataroamingkosten binnen de EU afgeschaft, wat betekent dat we in de meeste landen in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/search\/?filters%5Bcountry_id%5D=143&amp;searchType=COUNTRY&amp;utm_medium=social-p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Europa<\/a> nu overal en altijd internet hebben! Goed nieuws voor ons als reisliefhebbers natuurlijk. Maar wat houdt de afschaffing precies in en waar moet je rekening mee houden? Wij zetten een aantal tips voor je op een rijtje.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Controleer per provider de voorwaarden<\/h3>\n<p>Nu is het natuurlijk zo dat iedere provider zijn eigen voorwaarden kan maken omtrent dataroaming. Het is dan ook belangrijk dit goed door te nemen voordat je ook daadwerkelijk gaat internetten in het buitenland. Extra kosten rekenen mag niet meer, maar het kan wel zo zijn dat je MB\u2019s sneller op gaan. Goed in de gaten houden dus, want als je je bundel overschrijdt, worden er wel extra kosten in rekening gebracht.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Zet van tevoren internet in het buitenland aan<\/h3>\n<p>Heb jij nog nooit ge\u00efnternet in het buitenland met je huidige simkaart? Dan kan het zo zijn dat je dit nog moet activeren. Niets vervelender dan er in het buitenland achter komen dat je alsnog geen gebruik van internet kan maken omdat het niet geactiveerd is. Ook dit kun je het beste even nakijken bij je provider. Daar vind je vaak ook een stappenplan hoe je het wel moet activeren als dit nog niet gebeurd is. Daarnaast moet je in je telefooninstellingen natuurlijk ook roaming activeren.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/search\/?filters%5Bcountry_id%5D=143&amp;searchType=COUNTRY&amp;utm_medium=social-p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/06\/Vrouw-met-smartphone-1096x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1096\" height=\"683\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-8776\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>3. Geldt alleen in EU-landen<\/h3>\n<p>Pas op! Niet in alle Europese landen geldt de nieuwe wet. Het is namelijk aangenomen door de Europese Unie, wat betekent dat het geldt voor landen die lid zijn van de Europese Unie. Per provider kan het dan ook weer verschillen of bijvoorbeeld Noorwegen, IJsland en Zwitserland dan wel of niet onder de nieuwe regels vallen. Check dus even van tevoren of het land waar jij naartoe gaat extra kosten in rekening brengt of niet!<\/p>\n<h3>4. Gebruik nog steeds WiFi<\/h3>\n<p>Hoewel er geen extra kosten in rekening worden gebracht zolang je binnen je bundel blijft, kan je bundel natuurlijk wel opraken. Daarom is het nog steeds een tip om WiFi te gebruiken op de plekken waar je het hebt. Bijvoorbeeld in je <a href=\"https:\/\/www.belvilla.nl\/search\/?filters%5Bamenities%5D=485&amp;filters%5Bcountry_id%5D=143&amp;searchType=COUNTRY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vakantiehuis met WiFi<\/a> of in restaurants waar je gaat eten. Dit bespaart je een hoop MB\u2019s, zeker als je een fotootje op Facebook of Instagram gaat uploaden.<\/p>\n<h3>Wat vind jij van de nieuwe
